At Big White, Crescendo defines “Luxury”

A Fortress Disguised as a Chalet

Crescendo is not merely a chalet, it’s a fortress! At more than 5000 square feet, Crescendo is Big White’s largest single-family home made available for rental accommodation. More importantly, though, at Big White, Crescendo defines “luxury,” and every aspect was designed for practicality and for comfort.

Crescendo, in fact, is the result of architectural genius, where contemporary ingenuity/elegance and nature’s raw beauty harmoniously combine. Embedded into the mountain’s granite base, and following closely the mountain’s natural contour, through its split-level plan Crescendo was engineered to be an extension of the mountain itself. Each half-rotation around the spiralled staircase divides the front and back portions of each floor by eight feet. In six very separate areas, then, Crescendo’s three floors comfortably accommodate twenty-two adults.

While each room captures views of the slopes and/or of the majestic Monashee Mountains, the views from the Great Room- Kitchen-Dining Room are absolutely breathtaking. While cooking, dining, or relaxing, twenty-eight feet of floor-to-ceiling windows provide unprecedented panoramas upon which the eye may endlessly feast. The master ensuite, which overlooks the Great Room, shares the same view.
