Unsurpassed Tranquility
The Eye Eats First
As the eye eats first, presentation is essential to the planning of any good meal and to the entire dining experience. While Crescendo can’t lay claim to creating the Monashee Mountains, we can lay claim to capturing it. The unprecedented panoramas through the Great Room’s twenty-eight foot floor-to-ceiling windows is truly breathtaking. From virtually every room, in fact, your eye can feast endlessly on awe-inspiring beauty. That beauty remains the foundational ingredient to your realizing the depth of tranquility that can be experienced at Crescendo.
Our Signature Dish
Clearly the main course at Big White is the twenty-five feet of champagne powder that is served at Big White each year. We have told by our guests, though, that Crescendo’s signature dish is without doubt our indoor-outdoor pool/Jacuzzi. (read more)
Private Ensuites – Sweet!
Each bedroom has its own private ensuite, but the master ensuite is really sweet. The ensuite has a two-person steam-shower, and a two-person jetted tub. The tub overlooks the Great Room, providing views to the fireplace, to the ski slopes, and to the Monashee mountains. XM Music is streamed to stereo speakers over the tub and in the steam-shower (each zoned separately), controlled by the touchpanel in that room.
Pleasant Dreams
Crescendo has five bathrooms, and three of those have 2-person showers. Crescendo’s open floor-plan and extremely high ceilings combine to make Crescendo’s 5000+ square feet feel even that more spacious. Still, it is important to note that there are three dedicated bedrooms. Two of those bedrooms have sleeping lofts as well, and the media room is essentially a very elegant dorm. A chart showing Crescendo’s sleeping arrangement may be found here. Interestingly, though, as the garage is fully finished and heated (has its own TV and is part of the whole-house sound-system), many guests have chosen to set-up an air-mattress there, instead of using one of the sleeper couches.
