Want to get a good feel for a place before you book it? Now you can. Crescendo’s Virtual Tour is now up and running, allowing guests to pan 360 degrees through many of Crescendo’s rooms. Pictured here is the Great Room, with 28′ floor-to-ceiling glass that looks out onto the slope (only inches from the deck). Take a look at our Ski-in Entry, Master Suite/Ensuite, and more! When you’re done, hop over to view our video. Gives me snow-ski fever each time I view it.
Thanks to ALL who emailed me responses about their video game system preferences. More than 90% of your responses favored the Nintendo Wii. So, this season we’ll have the Wii. The Xbox may return as an additional system later, after it has been repaired.
Check-out the cool charger I bought for the Wii as well! Charges both remotes (yes, I bought two), with the motion plus and sleeves still on the controllers.
Well, it’s about that time of the year again to Think Snow! In fact, when at Crescendo this mid-July it did just that: SNOW!
There are several nice changes/additions this year at Crescendo…
Poker Table & Bumper Pool
First, I’m happy to report, that the Game Room is truly now a game room. We added a Bumper Pool table and a Poker Table. Not familiar with Bumper Pool? It is truly a blast! Using five balls per each side, where the majority of the shots require one to ricochet off the side bumpers or embedded rubber bumpers, the game is both challenging and quick, and better equalizes the playing field between children and adults.
Upgraded Ping Pong Table
We’ve also changed-out the previous Ping Pong table for a Professional Table. The surface is actually wrapped in metal, for durability and for action.
Upgraded Motion Sensing System
You’ll also notice quite an upgrade to our motion sensing technology: inside and outside. Arrive back to Crescendo late at night? No problem. As you walk through the house, lights will automatically sense your movement and predict where you are heading. Forget to turn-off the lights in a particular room? Fall asleep with the lights on? No problem. After sensing no activity for pre-programmed periods of time, the room will shut itself off for you.
Planning to Come to Big White?
As always, if any of our readers will be at Big White, please let us know when you’ll be there. If we happen to be there at the same time, we’d love to have you over to Crescendo for a visit.
